背景资料: Glutamine Synthetase catalyzes the ATP-dependent condensation of glutamate with ammonia to yield glutamine. Glutamine Synthetase is present predominantly in the brain, kidneys, and liver. In the brain it participates in the metabolic regulation of glutamate, the detoxification of brain ammonia, the assimilation of ammonia, recyclization of neurotransmitters, and termination of neurotransmitter signals. Glutamine Synthetase, in the brain, is found primarily is astrocytes.

保存建议: Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
