背景资料: The pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) complex is annuclear-encoded mitochondrial multienzyme complex that catalyzesnthe overall conversion of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA and CO(2), andnprovides the primary link between glycolysis and the tricarboxylicnacid (TCA) cycle. The PDH complex is composed of multiple copies ofnthree enzymatic components: pyruvate dehydrogenase (E1),ndihydrolipoamide acetyltransferase (E2) and lipoamide dehydrogenasen(E3). The E1 enzyme is a heterotetramer of two alpha and two betansubunits. This gene encodes the E1 alpha 1 subunit containing thenE1 active site, and plays a key role in the function of the PDHncomplex.

免疫原: This BDHA1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 228-255 amino acids from the Central region of human BDHA1.

保存建议: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
