背景资料: FUNCTION: IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGFs and have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growth promoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. They alter the interaction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors.

PTM: O-linked glycans consist of hexose (probably Gal), N-acetylhexosamine (probably GalNAc) and sialic acid residues. Major glycoforms consist of 8-16 monosaccharides (by homology to IGFBP-6 expressed recominantly in CHO cells).

保存建议: IGFBP6 antibody can be stored at 4˚C for short term (weeks). Long term storage should be at -20˚C. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
